Nutrition programs for clients of community services

Nutrition Australia ACT Division's one hour interactive workshops deliver nutrition information in a relaxed, informal environment. Visual aids such as food models, proportion plates, posters, food packaging and/or PowerPoint presentations are used to supplement nutrition education.

Family Eating on a BudgetFood and meal planning on a limited budget, shopping tips and ideas for simple meals using some pre-packaged foods. 

Convenience Foods are Healthy Foods This workshop puts the spotlight on how healthy foods can be the convenient choice, with hints and tips from the experts. 

Healthy Eating, Healthy AgeingLearn about the latest nutrition recommendations for  maintaining good health as we get older. 

Meal PlanningLearn how to plan individual and family meals, including ideas for healthy eating when dining out. 

Supermarket Tours Learn how to choose healthy foods from the supermarket, how to shop from a list, and how to read food labels.


Project Dinnertime cooking workshops

Perfect for individuals, families, community groups or staff. Project Dinnertime is designed to integrate nutrition education and practical cooking skills, during a hands on, two hour, cooking workshop. Project Dinnertime is delivered at Nutrition Australia ACT Division's Food Skills Kitchen.
