Training: Fussy eating in childcare

An interactive workshop for long day care and out of school hours care coordinators and educators.

Learn to overcome fussy eating challenges and promote healthy eating to children under 5 in your service.

You will learn:
  • Toddler refusing food practical strategies to deal with fussy eating/food refusal at meal times
  • to identify causes of food refusal/fussy eating
  • what you can do to support positive eating behaviours
  • healthy eating recommendations for infants, toddlers and pre-schoolers
  • about your role in promoting healthy eating through activities and resources.
     
And you will receive:
  • dedicated time to discuss your challenges and experiences with other educators
  • a resource pack with factsheets, activities and recipes
  • a certificate of completion.
     

Each workshop is 2.5 hours long, and will be run by one of our Accredited Practising Dietitians or Registered Nutritionists.

This workshop will also help your centre work towards National Quality Standard 2.2.
