The Victorian Division has developed & implemented a sustainable program to assist employees achieve optimal health in the workplace & increase productivity.

Tailored packages consist of numerous interactive lecture or workshop style presentations on a variety of topics which are all supported by our enormous range of resources. Packages may also include health displays, cooking demonstrations, shopping tours and much more. These programs are conducted by qualified Nutritionists / Dietitians with expertise in a wide range of specialisations.

Nutrition Australia Victorian Division undertakes a variety of consultancies including nutrition lectures, menu assessments and cooking demonstrations, advice on food service in schools, boarding schools, child care centres, aged care facilities and workplaces.

 

Green Light Eat Right Program

The City of Melbourne and Nutrition Australia have been working with participating food outlets in the QV Urban Market to help improve the nutritional quality of their menus and enable consumers to make better food choices.

It has included the introduction of a traffic light colour coded system to help consumers quickly and easily recognise what menu items have maximum, average, or poor nutritional value.

The green light, eat right program is a pilot program, and is the first in Australia to introduce the traffic light colour coding system into the public food domain. To help you make healthier choices, foods have been classified according to their nutritional value:
