Nutrition Australia Position Statement: Food Advertising Directed at Children (PDF/110KB)

 

Nutrition Australia participated in the Public Health Association of Australia (PHAA) nutrition round table discussion hosted as part of PHAA’s consultation for the development of its advocacy document. A Future for Food. This document calls for the government to readdress the way food policy is approached in Australia. It calls on the government to establish a national integrated food policy that addresses the issue of public health in a more holistic way by considering food supply issues including sustainability and equity.
