Breakfast

Why have breakfast?

Breakfast really is the most important meal of the day!

Fibre

What is fibre?

Fibre is the indigestible parts of plant foods, such as vegetables, fruits, grains, beans and legumes. It is type of a carbohydrate that helps keep our digestive systems healthy.

There are three different types of fibre which all have different functions and health benefits.

Iron

Iron is a mineral that is found in a range of foods. It helps to transport oxygen around the body, making it essential for life!

It is also important for producing energy, optimal immune function, and storing oxygen in our muscles (this is what gives muscles their red colour!)
