Team Leader, Healthy Eating Advisory Service

Melbourne, part time contract until February 2020

Nutrition Australia Vic Division (NA Vic) is seeking an experienced dietitian or nutritionist to lead the delivery of services by the coordinators and administration staff of the Healthy Eating Advisory Service (HEAS). 

HEAS builds the knowledge, skills and capacity of staff working in key settings across Victoria, to improve the availability of healthy food and drinks across the state.

The service supports the strategic direction of the Victorian Government with respect to public health and wellbeing.

The scope of this position is to:

  • support the Program Manager in identifying and progressing strategic direction for HEAS
  • manage staff coordinating the early childhood, schools, hospitals, workplaces, sport and recreation, universities and training components of the HEAS

Senior Public Health Nutritionist/Dietitian

Canberra, Full time till 28 February 2020

Nutrition Australia ACT (NAACT) is seeking a qualified and experienced Public Health Nutritionist passionate about health promotion and improving the health of the ACT population. This role will provide nutrition expertise and support to population health promotion projects, working collaboratively with the Health Promotion team within ACT Health.

The purpose of this position is to facilitate the day-to-day operation of the ACT Nutrition Support Service (ACTNSS), which supports a range of government initiatives to improve health outcomes for the ACT population. 

As a member of NAACT team, duties to be performed are of a complex and varied nature requiring a high level of independence.
