Senior Project Officer, Consultancy
Nutrition Australia Vic Division

Melbourne, full time

The primary purpose of this position is to deliver and manage the planning, implementation and evaluation of projects and services being completed by the Consultancy Unit. This includes providing support and oversight to project team members such as project officers, administration coordinators, consultants, volunteers and students.

The Consultancy unit provides nutrition expertise and services to a range of external stakeholders including government departments, food industry, non-government organisations, community organisations and consumer groups.

Services include the delivery of large-scale nutrition education projects, menu and food product assessments, the provision of support for interpreting and implementing government food and nutrition guidelines, recipe and new product development and nutrition education through face-to-face workshops and cooking demonstrations.

Senior Public Health Nutritionist/Dietitian

Nutrition Australia ACT (NAACT) is seeking a qualified and experienced Public Health Nutritionist passionate about health promotion and improving the health of the ACT population. This role will provide nutrition expertise and support to population health promotion projects, working collaboratively with the Health Promotion team within ACT Health.

The purpose of this position is to facilitate the day-to-day operation of the ACT Nutrition Support Service (ACTNSS), which supports a range of government initiatives to improve health outcomes for the ACT population. 

As a member of NAACT team, duties to be performed are of a complex and varied nature requiring a high level of independence.
