Partnerships and Engagement Coordinator
Healthy Eating Advisory Service

Part time, Melbourne

The primary purpose of this position is to lead the engagement and partnership activities to raise awareness of, and increase engagement with, the Healthy Eating Advisory Service (HEAS) in Victoria.

As Partnerships and Engagement Coordinator for the HEAS your responsibilities include:

  • Leading the development and implementation of the HEAS engagement strategy to drive usage of our online tools, resources and services and increase website traffic.
  • Coordinating and liaising with the HEAS team, key stakeholders, including the Achievement Program to map network opportunities, gaps and potential or emerging issues.
  • Developing and implementing strategies that increase engagement of health professionals and settings staff to implement policies and guidelines.
  • Promotion of the HEAS through industry, key stakeholder groups and networks, media and other avenues as identified to maximise reach.
  • Preparing and contributing to reports for the HEAS Program Manager for the Victorian Department of Health and Human Services and NA Vic Board.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with Department of Health and Human Service Divisions and Department of Education and Training to increase engagement and support for the HEAS
  • Representing the HEAS on networks, working parties and committees as required.
  • Maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and partners.
  • Ensuring communications and resources align to strategy and cater to the needs of the sector and are inclusive of all cultural groups and community diversity.
  • Contributing to the development of marketing material for HEAS
