Outside hours school care

A dietitian from Nutrition Australia ACT Division will deliver a 90 minute, interactive session at your outside school hours care centre. The children will be involved in preparing nutritious and delicious afternoon snacks and will be entertained with games and activities, with a healthy twist.

Nutrition & food handling course

A dietitian from Nutrition Australia ACT Division will visit your facility and present a two hour professional development session for up to 25 staff and volunteers.

Topics covered in the course include:

• Nutrition concerns and requirements for children
• Dietary Guidelines and Australian Guide to Healthy Eating
• Nutrition policy
• Food hygiene
• Safe food handling practices

Participants will receive a certificate of attendance.
