Nutrition Australia ACT Division’s food skills kitchen is fitted with four fully equipped cooking bays each containing an oven, cook top, cooking equipment (e.g. utensils, pots and pans) and ample bench space.
Other features of the food skills kitchen include:
- Two double sinks
- Hand washing facility
- Full size fridge and freezer
- Electrical cooking equipment
- Cleaning equipment
- Equipped to accommodate people with varying levels of disability, including reduced grip equipment and adjustable height bench top
Nutrition Australia ACT Division can provide a qualified nutritionist to facilitate a group workshop at your request, additional costs will incur.
Nutrition Australia ACT Division’s food skills kitchen is located on the lower level of the Chifley Health Hub, adjacent to the Warehouse Circus hall and opposite the courtyard.
Ample parking is available on site. The closest bus stop is a short walk from the nearby Chifley shops.
Meeting rooms adjacent to the Nutrition Australia ACT Division office are available for use in conjunction with kitchen hire. These are ideal for small group education prior to, or after, cooking sessions.
