Committee of Management

The Committee of Management is volunteer based and currently has committee members with experience in policy, education, regulation, clinical dietetics, research and health promotion programs.

 

Gillian Duffy – Chair

Bachelor of Applied Science, Graduate Diploma of Nutritional Science, Master of Nutrition

Gillian is the Chair of the ACT Committee of Management, and also represents Nutrition Australia ACT Division on the National Board of Directors. Gillian is a Senior Nutritionist at Food Standards Australia New Zealand.

Bradley Tarrant – Committee Member

 

Allison Wood – Committee Member

 Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Laws, Graduate Diploma in Secondary Education, and Diploma of Nutrition. 

Allison is currently undertaking a Masters in Ecological Public Health. Prior to this, Allison worked as a lawyer and senior policy advisor for the Australian government focussing on law reform and complex policy development and implementation within the Attorney-General’s portfolio.

Lyn Brown – Executive Officer

Graduate Diploma of Nutrition and Institutional Management, Accredited Practising Dietitian 

Lyn is the Executive Officer of Nutrition Australia ACT Division. Lyn represents the ACT Division on various committees, including Nutrition Australia Senior Staff.

 

Leanne Elliston – Public Officer

Bachelor of Science, Master of Nutrition and Dietetics, Accredited Practising Dietitian

Leanne is the Program Manager of Nutrition Australia ACT Division, and represents the ACT Division on the Nutrition Australia Senior Staff  Committee. Leanne has a special interest in childhood nutrition and also runs a part-time private practice.
