Water is essential for effective body function.
Extra water is required when the weather is hot and when
undertaking physical activity.
In a hot climate children should be encouraged and given
the opportunity to drink plenty of water.
Adolescents need a good understanding of the affects and
risks of drinking alcohol. Adolescents who drink alcohol regularly have poorer
health and are at greater risk of death due to injury.
